Admission Process

Steps to Enrollment

Our admission process is designed with your ease in mind—just follow the steps below! We accept students on an open enrollment basis, meaning that applications are accepted at all times of the year. If you are a new applicant attending college for the first time, we encourage you to complete the admission application by the priority application date, so you have enough time to complete the steps to enrollment before the start of the semester. Just follow the steps below, and you'll be on your way to becoming a student at the College.

Not sure what kind of student you are? Let us help you figure it out before you get started.

Take the Placement Test

The placement tests are very important because the results—in writing, reading and math—are used to determine if you will be placed into college-level courses. If not, you may first need to enroll in developmental classes or pre-college workshops, for which you do not earn credit toward a degree program. Learn more about the placement test.

  • You may schedule your placement test date through your MyCCP student account.
  • To prepare for the placement test, click here to view the test descriptions.

Transfer students may be waived from this testing based on transcript evaluation.
