The Office of Academic Advising helps students stay on their educational path and achieve their academic goals. We offer drop-in advising assistance at all College locations together with relevant professional development opportunities for faculty advisors who assist you in meeting your academic needs.
You can expect support in the following areas from the academic advisor working with you:
- Identifying appropriate courses to fulfill program requirements
- Determining educational and career goals
- Gathering information about resources and services for managing your academic life
- Understanding institutional policies, procedures and programs
Am I Eligible?
Academic Advising serves:
- Continuing students in good academic standing
- Students not on academic probation
Continuing students are students currently enrolled in courses or those who were enrolled in courses within the past two years.
Students are considered to be on Academic Probation when they do not meet the standards established by the Academic Standards and Progress Policy.
New students, those on Academic Probation and those who have not enrolled in courses for more than two years should visit the Counseling Department.
