Mariam Ibrahim Wants to Increase English Classes in Northeast Philadelphia

Mariam Ibrahim spoke at the Northeast Regional Library, advocating for more English classes in Northeast Philadelphia. Named one of Generocity's immigrant leaders in the city and a participate in the Immigrant Leadership Institute, a program offered by the Welcoming Center to promote civic participation in Philadelphia, Ibrahim migrated from Egypt over a year and a half ago and has been rigorously working on her English. This September, Ibrahim is going back to school at Community College of Philadelphia, where she plans to continue learning English and building her career.
