PHILADELPHIA – Community College of Philadelphia will host its Adopt-A-School Holiday Food and Clothing Drive to support five families from Spring Garden School and five families from the Laura W. Waring School. Media is invited to speak with the organizers of the drive as volunteers pack donations at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 9 in the Bonnell Building Lobby, 1700 Spring Garden Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123. The main entrance to the Bonnell Building is on 17th Street between Spring Garden and Callowhill Streets.

Due to the economic devastation cause by the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s drive is focused on providing as much support as possible to the families in most need. Each family will receive a selection of quality, non-perishable food items, winter clothing, and gifts.
