Evolve with Industry Standards
Prepare yourself to work with the increasing diversity of fuel sources emerging in the automotive technology industry with this new micro-certificate. In Philadelphia alone projects like the construction of a multimillion-dollar Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) fueling station for waste removal vehicles are shifting the local markets towards methanol, biodiesel, and compressed natural gas. As these technologies continue to evolve to become even more efficient than traditional fuel sources, automotive professionals who wish to have a well-rounded skill set and wish to remain competitive in the marketplace should heavily consider integrating this program into their degree path.
This two-course sequence is intended to supplement the automotive technology program of your choosing, such as our Medium and Heavy Truck Technology and Automotive Technology degree programs and proficiency certificates.
This program is open to all students currently enrolled or planning to enroll in relevant automotive technology programs and will be located in our state-of-the-art facilities at the Career and Advanced Technology Center (CATC).
