This training provides entry level workers in General Industry with ten (10) hours of instruction on hazard identification, avoidance, control, and prevention at a general industry worksite. It also informs workers and employers about their OSHA rights and employer responsibilities. Specific topic areas will include: Introduction to OSHA, Walking and Working Surfaces, Fall Protection; Exit Routes, Emergency Plans and Fire Prevention; Electrical, Personal Protective Equipment; Hazard Communication; Materials Handling; Machine Guarding; Ergonomics; Bloodborne Pathogens and Introduction to Industrial Hygiene.
The workshop will be taught by an authorized OSHA General Industry Outreach Trainer. Upon completion, you will receive an OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Outreach Training card, documenting that you have completed the course.
