Following are the College's student-led projects:
Project #1: Letters to self, “ If I’m confronted with violence, how will I use peace?”
Project #2: “You Are Not Alone." Create a decorative personalized note to be added to more than 150 stuffed animals that the Student Ambassadors have collected. The stuffed animals are for the children placed in after hour emergency shelters. We encourage your additional donations of new and very gently used stuffed animals.
Project #3 : Make your own MLK Day t-shirt. Pick a Quote from Dr. King and create a t-shirt.
Project #4: Create a mini mural and children’s crafts.
There are over 200 projects to participate in. Some may require pre-registration. Please visit the MLK Day of Service website to learn more.
