Is perception really reality? In a facilitated conversation, members of the Center for Male Engagement (CME) will discuss how perceptions (of self, their instructors and others in the College community, etc.) have influenced their behavior and performance in the classroom.
Within a diverse and cultural context, attendees will gain some insight in how perception not only informs the manner in which instruction is delivered, but also in how it is received by a student. Implications for culturally relevant instruction and programming are considered.
Please join us on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in the Coffeehouse, Room S1-22. A boxed lunch will be provided for the first 15 attendees.
