Corrine and Russ Earnest will discuss Fraktur, the Pennsylvania German Folk Art.
The Earnests have collaborated on numerous fraktur publications. Together, they wrote the two-volume Papers for Birth Dayes: Guide to the Fraktur Artists and Scriveners, the popular Fraktur: Folk Art & Family, a broadside book called Flying Leaves and One-Sheets, and The Heart of the Taufschein. These are but a few among their many books and hundreds of articles concerning fraktur. Books will be available for purchase.
Kaffee and Kuchen (coffee and cake) will be served.
