The College Family is invited to the an upcoming lecture titled, titled, Reestablishing the Bridge Between Africa and the African Diaspora. Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao, former United Nations Ambassador to the United States on behalf of the African Union, will share insights into the policies and programs that impact the African Union and the Diaspora.
Dr. Arikana Chihombori-Quao is a diplomat, public speaker, medical doctor, educator, founder of medical clinics, and an entrepreneur. She moved to the United States after living many years in Zimbabwe. She is the CEO and Founder of Bell Family Medical Centers in the United States.
Co-sponsors for this event include: Global Africans, Delaware African Coalition, Educators to Africa, Philadelphia City Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell, Health Link International, the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilization Mid-Atlantic Region, and the College's Women's Outreach and Advocacy Center, Philadelphia Black Studies Program and the Center for International Studies. Faculty are encouraged to bring their classes.
