I told my professors “this is not right we shouldn’t be doing this.” Both of my professors were like “You’ll be ok because you didn’t do the hard part which was kill them.” I had to put that into consideration and get the job done because I needed that class and I needed a passing grade. I didn’t think I could do it but I did with the help of my professors and classmates!

Although the book was part of an assignment, Professor Vadino along with my family and friends enjoyed it, and their feedback has given me the confidence and push I needed! After the book is complete, I will return to CCP to complete additional classes that will transfer towards my Social Work Degree at WCU. I plan on conquering accomplishing all my goals in life that I've made for myself. This degree is just a piece of the puzzle of my journey.
The K.E.Y.S program was a big help with my transition back to school, and I owe a lot of thanks to Ms. Gardella Cardwell who worked with me diligently throughout my time in the K.E.YS program and at CPP. Even when I was out of the K.E.Y.S program, Ms. Cardwell supported and invested herself with my work, and that means the world to me! She was a mentor to me, and one of the kindest people I've ever met! I have great memories with her and the other K.E.Y.S staff members. Without those memories, my time at CCP would not have been as memorable!
