DH 191 - Clinical Dental Hygiene I

Discussion will include basic principles, terminology, charting and practice of dental hygiene, disease prevention and dental health education. Students will develop manual skills necessary for instrumentations while performing preventive and therapeutic services. Legal, ethical and management aspects of total patient care will be discussed. Theory is used to support those procedures during clinical experiences.
