Impacting the Future

Impacting the Future
At Community College of Philadelphia, we aim to make education accessible for all in Philadelphia and build a path to shared prosperity and opportunity. This vision centers on our commitment to student success and is the guiding principle of the College’s strategic plan, Impact 2025.

This spring, we furthered our vision and welcomed Mellissia Zanjani, Ph.D., CFRE, the new vice president for Institutional Advancement and the Foundation’s executive director. Dr. Zanjani comes to the College from Lincoln University, where she served as vice president for Institutional Advancement. Prior to that, she served in the same role at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Georgian Court University, Mercer County Community College and Tacoma Community College.

As we face unprecedented times, ensuring access to education and student achievement are more important than ever. Through the Foundation’s fundraising initiatives and with the leadership of Dr. Zanjani, we will continue to offer remarkable opportunities and create a learning environment that nurtures student success. No matter the circumstances, we will persist with our progress because of our collective caring and creativity. Ultimately, we will transform our communities and our city together.
