The City of Philadelphia’s vaccination mandate for institutions of higher education has been updated to require all individuals to have their first shot of an approved COVID-19 vaccine by October 15, 2021, and their second shot (if Pfizer or Moderna) by November 15, 2021. Individuals will be subject to testing until they are fully vaccinated (two weeks after final shot). Visitors to the College will continue to be required to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated or submit to a COVID test at the College’s testing site in order to access campus. Admissions, student services and support are available remotely with limited in-person services. Octavius Catto Scholarship — Supporting First-time Philadelphia Students
Join us for a Zoom presentation with Q&A on the Octavius Catto Scholarship. Mayor Jim Kenney proposed an important new anti-poverty initiative designed to put more Philadelphians on the path to success at Community College of Philadelphia. The program, named the Octavius Catto Scholarship, aims to make the transformative power of education available to students by providing funding and additional supports. Octavius Catto was an American educator, intellectual and civil rights activist in Philadelphia. Learn about eligibility requirements, supports for students, and the application process. Community College of Philadelphia Fall Open Houses
Join Us for an Open House on Main Campus, virtually or both—your choice! Let us help you get started on your path to success. Join us for an open house to learn more about the College, the wide variety of academic programs we offer and how to get started. After a brief admissions overview presentation, you'll have the opportunity to learn more about our different academic pathways and your program of interest. Admissions and Financial Aid staff will be available throughout the open house to answer your questions about the steps to enrollment and paying for college. RSVP to join us at one of our open house options in December. Allied Health Events at Community College of Philadelphia
This event will cover our programs in Allied Health including Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Medical Assistant, Respiratory Therapy and more. We will showcase current and new programs on the horizon as well as a basic "how to" guide for the Allied Health Intake process. This is a must for all those interested in a health care profession. There will be a question-and-answer portion at the end of the presentation.
Virtual Ask Admissions and Financial Aid Sessions
Join us for Ask Admissions and Financial Aid, a Zoom event designed for new students who have applied to a degree or certificate program and who have not enrolled in the College yet. Join us on Zoom for answers to your questions about how to get started, your next steps, financial aid, programs, services and how to enroll. You will be able to speak briefly with an Admission Representative or Financial Aid Representative when you join the session.
You must register to participate; the evening prior to the event you will receive the login information. Make sure you have downloaded Zoom and have your audio working properly when you join the session. You will be in a waiting room before being connected to a breakout room for an individual session. Please be patient as there could be some wait time depending on volume. You can join or leave the session at any time within the posted time on your computer, tablet, laptop, or phone. A Spanish-speaking representative will be available.

Information tours are available at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on most Tuesdays at the Main Campus Welcome Center. Please check the current schedule and reserve your space. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are appreciated so we can notify you of any schedule changes. Your visit will include an information session with an admission representative and a general campus tour.
