The College is currently operating remotely due to COVID-19. Courses for the Fall and Spring terms will be held online while admissions, and student services and support are available remotely. You can take the first step now and apply online or email admissions at admissions@ccp.edu if you have questions.

Adult Student Information Night

Join us to learn how you can start or finish your degree or certificate at Community College of Philadelphia. A college education can help you enter the workforce, qualify you for more job opportunities, enable you to change careers and lead to a bachelor’s degree. Octavius Catto Scholarship – Supporting First Time Philadelphia Students

Join us for a Zoom presentation with Q&A on the Octavius Catto Scholarship. Octavius Valentine Catto was an American educator, intellectual, and civil rights activist in Philadelphia. Mayor Jim Kenney proposed an important new anti-poverty initiative designed to put more Philadelphians on the path to success at Community College of Philadelphia. The program, named the Octavius Catto Scholarship, aims to make the transformative power of education available to students by providing funding and additional supports. Learn about eligibility requirements, supports for students, and the application process. You must RSVP to attend this zoom presentation.

Latinx - Beca Octavius Catto - Apoyando a Estudiantes de Filadelfia que Irán al Community College of Philadelphia por Primera Vez

Acompáñanos  a conocer la Beca Octavius Catto en una presentación  virtual a través de Zoom. Octavius Valentine Catto fue un educador, intelectual y activista de derechos civiles de Filadelfia. En honor a éste gran lider, el alcalde de la Ciudad, Jim Kenney propuso y aprobó una nueva e importante iniciativa diseñada para ayudar a residentes de Filadelfia a combatir la pobreza mediante la educación,  tomando el camino hacia el éxito en el Community College of Philadelphia. El nuevo programa, denominado Beca Octavius Catto, tiene como objetivo hacer que el poder transformador de la educación esté disponible para los estudiantes al proporcionar fondos y apoyos adicionales. En esta presentación daremos a conocer los requisitos de elegibilidad, los apoyos adicionales a los becados y el proceso de solicitud. Además contestaremos todas sus preguntas sobre esta nueva iniciativa de asistencia económica a estudiantes nuevos. Debe confirmar su asistencia para asistir a esta presentación de zoom. This event will cover our programs in Allied Health, including Nursing, Dental Hygiene, Diagnostic Medical Imaging, Medical Assistant, Respiratory Therapy and more. Veteran Benefits & Resources at CCP

Transferring Into and Out of CCP

Join us for a Zoom event designed for students who are interested in transferring to Community College of Philadelphia from another college or university. We’ll also talk about our Dual Admissions transfer agreements with area colleges and universities when you’re ready to leave CCP to attend a four-year college. During the presentation, you will be able to ask questions by typing them into the Q&A section of the Zoom.

Virtual Ask Admissions and Financial Aid Sessions

Join us for Ask Admissions and Financial Aid, a Zoom event designed for new students who have applied to a degree or certificate program and who have not enrolled in the College yet. Join us on Zoom for answers to your questions about how to get started, your next steps, financial aid, programs, services, and how to enroll. You will be able to speak briefly with an Admission Representative or Financial Aid Representative when you join the session.

You must register to participate; the evening prior to the event you will receive the login information. Make sure you have downloaded Zoom and have your audio working properly when you join the session. You will be in a waiting room before being connected to a breakout room for an individual session. Please be patient as there could be some wait time depending on volume. You can join or leave the session at any time within the posted time on your computer, tablet, laptop, or phone. A Spanish-speaking representative will be available.

New Student Registration Tutorial

This event is only for students who have never attended college before, have satisfied placement, have been accepted and received their educational plan from Advising and are ready to register. Hosted by college staff, they will share an instructional video to help you register yourself for your first set of classes at the college once you receive your educational plan.  Before you attend this event you will need to complete the New Student Advising Intake form. After you submit this form, an email will be sent to your MyCCP email account with your educational plan listing the courses you should register for based on your placement. Depending on volume it may take more than a week to receive this follow up.

Questions about the admission process or need help applying?  Please visit the Main Campus Welcome Center in the Pavilion Building, located on 17th Street between Spring Garden and Callowhill streets: Monday through Thursday - 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Weekly Information Tours

Tours will not be available until the College fully re-opens.

Main Campus Tours
Information tours are available at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on most Tuesdays at the Main Campus Welcome Center. Please check the current schedule and reserve your space. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are appreciated so we can notify you of any schedule changes. Your visit will include an information session with an admission representative and a general campus tour.

Regional Center Tours
Tours at our Northeast, Northwest and West Regional Centers are available by request (see contact information under the designated regional center below).

Group Tours
If you plan to bring more than four guests, please arrange a group tour by contacting the College recruiter assigned to your school or group. If you do not have an assigned recruiter, please contact Diane Kae. Please provide as much information as possible, including school/organization name and address, your name, title and phone number, number of people in the group, age or grade level, a brief description of the group, and desired dates and times. Our Admissions staff will contact you to arrange your group tour.
