Admission Events

The College is currently closed while Philadelphia remains under a stay-at-home order. All courses for the Summer I and II terms will be held online while admissions, and student services and support are available remotely. The next open house will be held virtually on June 17, but you can take the first step now and apply online today or contact admissions at admissions@ccp.edu if you have questions.

 

Virtual Ask Admissions Sessions

Join us for Ask Admissions, a three-hour online Zoom event every Wednesday. This session is designed for First Time College Students who have applied to a degree or certificate program and who have not enrolled in the college yet. Join us on Zoom for answers to your questions about how to get started, your next steps, programs and services, and how to enroll. You will be able to speak briefly with an Admission Representative or Financial Aid Representative when you join the session. You must register to participate, and prior to the event you will receive the login information. You can join or leave the session anytime within the posted time on your computer, tablet, laptop, or phone. A Spanish speaking representative will be available.

Virtual Business Programs Information Session

Interested in pursuing a business degree, but don’t know which one best fits your academic goals? Learn about Community College of Philadelphia’s program options at this virtual session, with an opportunity to meet program faculty and coordinators, ask them questions, and determine what course of study is right for you.

Adult Student Information Night Zoom Event

Virtual Open House

Please join us for a Virtual Open House to learn about our degrees and certificate programs. An Admissions Overview Presentation from 5:00 to 5:30 pm. After that, you will be able to link to a connected zoom meeting of the Academic Pathway or program major of your choice. Admissions and Financial Aid will stay in the original zoom for Q&A throughout in a town hall format from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. You must RSVP by June 16 to receive the Zoom link which will be sent just prior to the event.

Visit the Welcome Center

Questions about the admission process or need help applying?  Please visit the Main Campus Welcome Center in the Pavilion Building, located on 17th Street between Spring Garden and Callowhill streets: Monday through Thursday - 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Friday - 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Weekly Information Tours

Tours will not be available until the College re-opens.

Main Campus Tours
Information tours are available at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on most Tuesdays at the Main Campus Welcome Center. Please check the current schedule and reserve your space. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are appreciated so we can notify you of any schedule changes. Your visit will include an information session with an admission representative and a general campus tour.

Regional Center Tours
Tours at our Northeast, Northwest and West Regional Centers are available by request (see contact information under the designated regional center below).

Group Tours
If you plan to bring more than four guests, please arrange a group tour by contacting the College recruiter assigned to your school or group. If you do not have an assigned recruiter, please contact Diane Kae. Please provide as much information as possible, including school/organization name and address, your name, title and phone number, number of people in the group, age or grade level, a brief description of the group, and desired dates and times. Our Admissions staff will contact you to arrange your group tour.
