Students may enroll their children, ages six weeks to five years, in the College’s Child Development Center on Main Campus. This convenient center, managed by Knowledge Universe, Inc., fully adheres to all state requirements and currently enjoys accreditation by both the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and Keystone Stars (Star 3).
We offer age-appropriate programs for infants:
- 6 weeks to 12 months
- 13 months to 3 years
- 3 to 5 years
We also provide drop-in care on a space-available basis. Please provide copies of your child’s most recent physical exam.

Q: Who can I contact for tuition assistance, and do you accept Subsidy?
A: You may either contact the Child Care Information Office (CCIS) near you, or stop by the Child Development Center for more information.
Q: Do you have qualified teachers?
A: Yes, our teachers have (Child Development) Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education.
Q: How can we schedule a tour?
A: You may call us at 215-751-8764 weekdays to arrange a tour.
Q: Do you have a meal program?
A: We provide breakfast and healthy snacks throughout the day. You are responsible for bringing your child's lunch each day.
Q: When can I pay or co-pay for tuition?
A: You pay each Monday by check or money order only, no cash. Also, we do provide an online payment plan; please stop by the office for set-up details.

Need funds for child care?
Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) Grants are available for parent-students!
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a Pell-eligible student-parent attending Community College of Philadelphia
- Be registered for at least six credits per semester (Nursing and Allied Health Students must be registered for at least three credits)
- Be in good academic standing (as outlined in the College catalog) to apply
- Maintain a good academic standing to continue participation in the program
