Student Success Initiatives offer programs and services designed to support students with the goal of increasing rates of academic success at the College.
Academic Early Alert
The purpose is to positively affect students’ academic paths early by communicating current classroom performance, providing information beneficial to academic success and referring students to appropriate College services for addressing obstacles. Faculty members may complete Early Alert reports twice each semester (at the 20 percent and mid-term points) to alert students whose academic performance is possibly jeopardizing their success and progress at the College. The office of Student Success Initiatives offers outreach and support to students receiving these alerts to increase their likelihood of academic success.
