Staffed by professional counselors, the College’s Counseling Center offers you free educational, career and personal counseling services. Counselors also assist both current students and graduates who wish to continue their education at another institution. Information discussed in counseling is kept strictly confidential.
What’s Available?
All students on academic probation, readmit students (away from the College 2+ years), and new transfer students must meet with a counselor to register.
Registration for 10 week classes will continue until the week of 10/3. Registration for January 2024 will start in late October 2023.

Once we receive your request, you will be contacted by our office about registration and next steps.
- New students (no previous college credits) and Continuing students (good academic standing) see Academic Advising for assistance with course selection and registration, learning about college resources, creating academic and graduation plans.
We encourage students to attend our Virtual Drop-In or In-Person Drop-In hours.
Virtual Drop In (Sept. 18 to Dec. 19)
Students without an appointment can see a counselor of a first-come, first-serve basis for a 15-minute virtual or in-person drop-in session.

In-Person Drop-In Services (Sept. 18 to Dec. 19)
Students without an appointment can see a counselor on a first-come, first-served basis for a brief session. Students who need more time with a counselor can make an appointment for a private counseling session. Appointments can be made at the reception desk in the Bonnell Building, Room BG-07 or by calling 215.751.8169 or email counseling@ccp.edu.
Main Campus, the Counseling Center is located in Room BG-07.
Thursday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1:30 to 4 p.m.
