Recruit and Develop Trained Technicians
If you’re an automotive dealership looking for qualified technicians, you’ve come to the right place. Community College of Philadelphia’s Automotive Technician Apprenticeship Program (ATAP) is a partnership between the College, the Auto Dealers Association of Greater Philadelphia and local dealerships to help address the automotive technician shortage in our region.

ATAP is an industry-driven, Pennsylvania regulated training program that allows area automotive dealerships like Nissan, Ford, Subaru and Stellantis to develop and prepare their future workforce.

About the Apprenticeship
Our apprenticeship program combines on-the-job training and formal classroom instruction. Apprentices are full-time, paid employees of the sponsoring dealership with the potential to earn a national credential certificate once the program is complete.
