Pathways to High School Graduation

CCP can help you graduate High School

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has introduced statewide Pathways to Graduation—expanded high school graduation requirements that are in effect with the graduating class of 2023.

What are the new pathways to graduation for high school students?

In addition to the credits (23.5 credits in Philadelphia, 21 credits in other Pennsylvania school districts) and service-learning projects previously required to graduate, students graduating from a Pennsylvania high school starting this school year must meet additional requirements through one of five pathways designed to illustrate their college, career and community readiness.

The Five Pathways to High School Graduation

Each of the five pathways offers a different combination of options that can serve to fulfill the additional graduation requirements. Learn more about the five pathways to graduation. You can also download the School District of Philadelphia’s Pathways to Graduation chart.

How can Community College of Philadelphia help me fulfill my high school graduation requirements?

If students do not satisfy Keystone requirements in Pathways one or two, Community College of Philadelphia provides several ways in which students may fulfill the new graduation requirements in Pathways three, four and five:
